Education.

In 2007, in response to seeing too many young lives ruined by poor decisions, Adair developed his first educational resource for school leavers that aimed to educate them with regards the law and the consequences of ignoring the law.

17 years later this has evolved into education, consultancy and advocacy work on a national level to sporting bodies, peak bodies regarding gendered violence, schools, universities and workplaces.

The focus is always on the law. The training is interactive, entertaining and most importantly, thought provoking.

Adair resolutely believes, if we are going to have a chance of reducing the horrendous statistics in relation to harassment and violence toward women, amongst other issues, then we need to educate young men and women about the law. That is the foundation that all other training should rest on.

Education

"For fifteen years, the girls at Fairholme have hung on his words and collectively enjoyed his presentations - although he always challenges them to think and to consider things from a different perspective. We are so grateful to Adair for the passion and expertise he has around topics that matter but are rarely addressed effectively."

Extensive experience.

In relation to his education endeavours, Adair’s work in this space has been widely acknowledged. In 2020 he was retained by the Queensland Law Society to write and produce their sexual harassment resource which is now being used by all law societies in Australia.

He continues to be an advisor to the NRL, educating elite athletes in relation to legal issues associated with welfare and education.

The work he has done in this space has been recognised in the UK where he has been engaging with elite athlete services and educators.

Adair is also regularly asked to be a keynote speaker, particularly in relation to gendered violence and employment related issues.

Education

Adair Donaldson has been engaged with Fairholme College in the ‘putting youth in the picture’ space for more than fifteen years.

Fairholme College was one of his first pilot schools when he began presenting around the contentious and weighty topics of consent, sexual harassment and discrimination, safe partying etc. With skill, he has negotiated these and other pertinent adolescent topics with the fresh discernment of a lawyer, the wisdom of practical knowledge and a genuine empathy for young people’s challenges as they negotiate their way safely, into adulthood. He pulls no punches in delivery.

He is constantly seeking out relevant topics and relatable delivery methods. For fifteen years, the girls at Fairholme have hung on his words and collectively enjoyed his presentations – although he always challenges them to think and to consider things from a different perspective.

We are so grateful to Adair for the passion and expertise he has around topics that matter but are rarely addressed effectively. His effectiveness cannot be questioned.
